Pest Control
QuickSilver T&O Herbicide
Quicksilver T&O Herbicide is a postemergence herbicide that can be used on many grasses including Bermudagrass and St. Augustinegrass.
The active ingredient is Carfentrazone-ethyl 21.3%.
QuickSilver is a protox inhibitor, which induces the formation of peroxides that attacks lipids in the cell membrane. This disruption causes leakage of cell contents resulting in cell destruction. With this formulation, plants become necrotic within hours after treatment. Quicksilver can be used on turf with 3-way herbicides, as well as other types of broadleaf herbicides.
QuickSilver Herbicide is a contact herbicide with little or no residual activity that provides selective postmergence control of broadleaf weeds. This formulation rapidly penetrates into the plant cell walls and will show visual symptoms on susceptible weeds in 24 hours or less. QuickSilver is rainfast within one hour after application.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES: Most effective when applied to actively growing winter and summer annuals. • Increases the speed of kill and expands the spectrum of control of broadleaf weeds when applied in a tank mixture with other postemergence herbicides. Product remains highly effective under both cool and warm temperatures. Can be applied to most turf types 7 days or more after emergence for species established by both seeding and sprigging.
Mix rate is 0.03 oz per 1-2 gallons of water.
*A surfactant is highly recommended*
